Who we are and what we believe in...
Dental Precision is situated in a beautiful barn conversion on the outskirts of the coastal village St Agnes in Cornwall.
Martin Docking, Dip CDT RCS (Eng), started Dental Precision with his wife, Lucy, in 1995 and the firm has gone from strength to strength. Now employing a staff of 18, our reputation attracts & maintains a client base from all over the UK and Ireland, of like-minded dentists who are at the top of their game and expect only the best in quality and service.
Our commitment to our clients:
Quality products that fit every time: We combine top quality materials and state of the art technology with superior technical skills and training to deliver excellent quality products that our dentists can rely on.
Communication throughout the process: Not communicating is like winking in the dark – you know what you are doing but nobody else does. We take time to ensure that we build & maintain excellent lines of communication with our dentists.
Technical knowledge and support throughout the lifetime of our relationship with you: Dentists need to be so many things these days – inspiring leaders, HR managers, sales & marketing experts, administrators, business strategists, oh and also dentists with excellent customer relations skills. To add to all of this, many of our dentists complete further training, i.e. implantology and so their time is even more pressured. Therefore, our technicians are always on the end of the phone to advise on anything lab related and we take a proactive approach to notify our clients of new techniques and materials once we've tested them and have confidence in them.
Bespoke service: We understand that every dentist has individual preferences and information gathered at feedback sessions with our clients highlighted that blue-sky for most dentists would be to have their own laboratory so that the technician would have a close understanding of their working style. Therefore, we have started to work with our clients to create 'Preference lists' – these are stored on a laboratory software and updated every 6 months. They allow dentists to have a standard list of preferences but they can still change details on specific cases by noting it on the laboratory prescription.
Flexibility: Whilst standard turnaround times are important to help to maintain the workflow, we understand that our dentists need to be flexible with their patients and we in turn need to be flexible with our dentists. Therefore we will look to support them with faster turnaround times wherever possible and where required.
Our vision statement:
We will deliver this through:
- Earning a reputation for delivering value for money by producing amazing products that look fantastic, are functional & fit every time.
- Providing a professional service that is approachable, easily accessible & second to none.
- Employing the most experienced & conscientious team who develop & impart their creative, technical skills & knowledge with colleagues and customers.
- A strong well managed organisational structure with training and empowerment at all levels, clarity around roles & responsibilities and everyone aware of the contribution that they make.
- Always remembering that there is a person at the end of the process and working to ensure that, with their dentist, we deliver positive, caring, life changing results.
